South Alabama Kids' Directory debuts June 2011

It is finally here! The South Alabama Kids' Directory. Months of planning, and hard work for all involved. Young moms, you will not want to miss this directory. This June, South Alabama Kids' Directory will feature many, many pages of fabulously fun places to have your child's birthday party! Cupcakes, cookie and cakes, oh my!

I had the wonderful honor of shooting the cover for the debut issue. It was so much fun! We wanted to come up with a concept that would have color that just POPS off the page. That's when the idea of the Lemonade Stand came about!!! I love the combination of yellow and pink. To me this says warm, Alabama Summer days all over it! Nothing is better than fresh, ice cold lemonade on a hot Summer day.

Kara is our sweet little model. She was a hoot to photograph! She is spunky, and precocious. Sweet and tart... just like lemonade. She has one of the best personalities in a three year old, that I have ever seen:)
